Well, I was, and broke my heart. In
the middle of my healing, I met your
Mom. She was amazing, still is, and I
really started to like her. But I felt
like it wasn’t the right time so I
held off. She liked me too and got fed
up waiting so she asked me out first.

SANAA
(on the phone)
Damn…

I know. It doesn’t make me feel good
knowing I didn’t ask her out first.
But, I’m also happy she did that
though. I kept pushing my feelings
down because I was scared. I had a lot
of negative thoughts, some valid and
some not.
